If I had to describe Cartagena in a single word, it would be “postcard”. Every vista seems to be a living photograph. The vivid colors, bold sculptures, and breath-taking architecture all contribute to the city’s world-renowned charm. This reputation is well deserved as walking the streets of Cartagena is somewhat dreamlike. But there’s no use blinking or pinching yourself; this is certainly no dream. Colombia’s colonial jewel is as real as it gets.
